Start with one attack
Enter Degree 1 base damage, pierce and whole-second cooldown. The model scales those stats and compares common Degrees. It does not load a complete tower attack model or combine every ability into one damage number.
For 1–99, damage grows by one percent per Degree above 1, with additive steps each ten levels above 1. Degree 100 uses the special final bonus. Base damage 100 gives 186 at Degree 80 and 210 at 100 in the maintained model. Bonus damage by Bloon type must be tracked separately.
Rate and cooldown move oppositely
A rate factor above one divides the starting interval. The reference rounds its square-root term before applying the formula. The comparison table uses the same function as the interactive result. Increased rate does not guarantee the same increase in actual damage dealt: targets, travel time, pierce limits and charge conditions can dominate.
S.P.I.D.E.R. Monkey has conditional rate behavior and a charged ability, so universal base-stat scaling cannot predict its total combat output. This is why no exact tower DPS is displayed.
Pierce and Boss evidence
Older Popology and the modern maintained table disagree on additive pierce. The modern-reference result is visibly marked unverified, and attacks with fixed pierce may ignore the general formula. It must not be advertised as a verified current coefficient for all attacks.
Official v39 notes confirm a 25% Boss stage increment each 20 Degrees. Final Boss damage still needs base, MOAB and Boss bonus components and attack-specific exceptions. A plausible stage number is not a measured DPS result.
